Abstract EN

This research deals with a phenomenon of Islamic jurisprudence, which is the birth of the schools of opinion and hadith.

The researcher in the introduction provides a historical account on the main reasons of the emergence of Figh Schools and Approaches in the Islamic legislative system.

In the first part, the researcher highlights the factors that led to the emergence of Schools of Opinion and Al-hadith together with their distinctive characteristics.

The second parts sheds light on the role of Imam Al-Shafi’i in reconciling between the school of the people of opinion and the school of the people of hadith, bridging the gap between the opinions of the two groups, and narrowing the difference between them, which led to each team benefiting from the experiences of the other, and that undoubtedly had the most profound impact on the renewal, advancement and prosperity of Islamic jurisprudence.

The research has shown the extent of the greatness of the prominent, famous scholar: Imam Al-Shafi’i, and his superiority in jurisprudence and its origins
