Abstract EN

The study aimed to find out the status of the outcomes of the schools of educational sciences and their alignment with the needs of the labor market in Jordanian universities from the perspective of employers in the public and private sectors, academics in the schools of educational sciences in public and private universities, and educational supervisors in the capital, Amman.

the study selected a sample of (60) from among the aforementioned employers.

the results of the study showed the agreement of the sample members that the scientific level of graduates of the schools of educational sciences in Jordanian universities are relatively good, and regarding the skill level of graduates, the faculty members and school directors agreed that it is at a relatively good, while the educational supervisors indicated that it is acceptable, and regarding the degree to which the programs of the school of educational sciences keep pace with scientific and skill developments, the faculty members and school directors agreed that it is at a relatively good, while the educational supervisors indicated that it is acceptable, and with regard to the alignment between the outputs of the school of educational sciences with the needs of the labor market, the faculty members and school directors see that it is mostly limited to the cognitive (theoretical) side at the expense of the skill (applied), while the educational supervisors indicated there is no alignment, and the study presents a set of educational recommendations to enable the school of educational sciences to align their outputs with market needs.
