Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the training needs of female secondary school teachers to enhance the intellectual awareness of the students from the teachers' perspective, and to indicate whether there are statistically significant differences between the responses of the study sample due to the variables (scientific qualification- specialization-years of experience-training courses in intellectual awareness and intellectual security).

the study relied on the descriptive survey method, using a questionnaire consisting of four dimensions of intellectual awareness, and then applying it to a sample of 101 female secondary school teachers from various disciplines.

the results of the study showed the availability of training needs for secondary school teachers to enhance the intellectual awareness of the students from the teacher's perspectives, to a moderate degree.

the results of the study also showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the responses of female teachers towards training needs due to the variables (educational qualification- specialization-years of experience).

whereas it showed that there were statistically significant differences due to the variable (training courses in awareness and intellectual security) in favor of the more courses.

the study recommended intensifying intellectual awareness programs for teachers by the intellectual A awareness center at the ministry of education.
