This study aims to shed light on the stakes of the geopolitical arc of energy (the crescent of energy) in the Sahel and Sahara region from the perspective of Algerian foreign policy, specifically in light of the emergence of the issue Of geopolitical energy, which has become listed as the most prominent axes of international policy as it witnesses the intersection of many fields, given the strategic importance of energy Supply systems and energy markets have become seamlessly intertwined with global security, and energy resources have turned into a tool in the foreign policy of countries to embody their strategies, and at the same time it has come to indicate the inevitability of foreign policies of some countries adapting to the new positioning of energy sources in international politics, including Algeria.
