This research is of the relation between urban growth and Algerian projects programs housing in 1962-2019 and what housing sector has achieved of this expansion.

basis of hypothesis, the more urban growth, the more interested in the development of residential projects so, our research is divided into two axes.

First, we have access to housing projects, with the growth and distribution of urban budget, and the second solution to the housing crisis in Algeria.Finally, although the high attention paid to the housing sector and the adoption of planning policies, which have increased the diversity of production scale and housing supply, despite all these efforts, Algerian cities still face housing problems, which have become sociological research constitutes a serious crisis, face the development process, and the causes of the crisis are summed up as no plan and specific time to complete it.
