The art of oratory had kept up with all the political and social changes that different ages have known, Marriage was one of the social occasions that related to this kind of literature.

Represented in oratories of dowries that spread in the Ziani era similar to that of other arts include letters wills and others thanks to Abu Bakr Ibn khattab El Morsi who left a clear trace on zianiLiterature when he worked as a writer in the script office, in which he wrote for kings and princes and their courtiers in the purpose of the marriage.

We consider it important to describe this purpose by studying and analyzing the contents of the study which have distinguished it from other purposes by highlighting the shape of its structure, its stylistic features and its artistic characteristics.
