" Arabic is one of the oldest and most widely used languages in the world, along with a few other languages.

This is why the United Nations has adopted it among the six official languages in its plenary meetings and in the drafting of its reports.

Nevertheless, we find representatives of the Arab countries in this body do not use it, but rather use the English language (for the Arab Mashreq countries and the Gulf), French (for the countries, the late Algerian President (Houari Boumediene ) had previously intervened by delivering his speech in Arabic at one of the sessions of the Commission, and there is nothing surprising about it.
