In this article, we try to find the extent to which speech analysis tools are adapted to deal with the rapidly changing digital media landscape.

are there serious attempts to formulate new concepts and methodologies to deal with the unique and diverse rhetorical formation that virtual space contains ? this is done by providing a theoretical and analytical reading based on a body of literature that has been exposed to this topic.

and we concluded that there are some methodological approaches that contributed to the analysis of virtual discourse, such as virtual ethnography and the approach of "audience rhetoric" as one of the most important approaches developed by reformulating the analytical frameworks of discourse analysis methodology according to the contributions of the public in the virtual space.
