انتهجت الجزائر استراتيجية جنائية في مواجهة الإرهاب تجلت في السياسة الجنائية للدولة في مكافحة هذه الظاهرة من خلال اعتمادها لجملة من الوسائل القانونية و العملية، كما امتدت هذه الأخيرة إلى البعد الإقليمي و هذا راجع للموقع الجيوسياسي التي تتمتع به الجزائر في منطقة الساحل الإفريقي، و التي ساعدت على إيجاد و تفعيل آليات إقليمية لمكافحة الإرهاب من خلال رسم استراتيجية جنائية تجمع بين قواعد القانون الجنائي الوطني و الاتفاقيات الإقليمية و الدولية ثم المقترحات الأممية.
Abstract EN
Algeria pursued a criminal strategy against terrorism, which has been reflected in the State's penal policy aimed at combating this phenomenon through the adoption of certain legal and practical means.
The latter has also extended to the regional dimension, because of the geopolitical position of Algeria in the African coast region, this helped to create and activate regional counter-terrorism mechanisms by developing a criminal strategy that combines the rules of national criminal law with regional and international conventions and then the UN proposals.

L'Algérie a poursuivi une stratégie pénale face au terrorisme, qui s'est reflétée dans la politique pénale de l'État, visant à lutter contre ce phénomène grâce à l'adoption de certains moyens juridiques et pratiques.
Cette dernière s'est également étendue à la dimension régionale, en raison de la position géopolitique de l'Algérie dans la région africaine du Sahel, ce qui a contribué à créer et à activer des mécanismes régionaux de lutte contre le terrorisme en élaborant une stratégie pénale combinant les règles du droit pénal national avec les conventions régionales et internationales, ensuite avec les propositions de l'ONU.
