This study attempts to highlight the problem of economic corruption and its implications for Algeria's structural transformation process.

the study found that Algeria, although benefiting from a huge financial abundance beginning in the first decade of the third millennium, failed to achieve the required structural transformation, mainly due to corruption that spread within the national economy, its depletion of resources, and its penetration of economic policy objectives.
