The study aims to highlight the geopolitical impact on the Algerian role in the Sahel region, in light of the constitutional amendment, the indicators of the shift from diplomacy of anticipation to diplomacy of vigilance, anticipation and influence, and settling crises in a multi-dimensional security approach that is functionally linked to the security of the region, an approach that experts considered influential on its role as a regional hegemon-an important geopolitical position in Africa, the military force, ..-, and the extent to which this role plays the stakes of the region, to be reflected in the implementation of its foreign policy objectives, and its position as a player in regional security, where the situation is characterized by the complexity of the dynamics between the actors, and the various structural imbalances.
