Abstract EN

This study aims to identify strategies for social adjustment to social pressures for the purpose to achieve the required competence for the worker so that he can achieve the psychological as well as the social compatibility and adapt to what is new and the resulting transformations and changes that force us to keep up with them in order to reach a high level of job performance.

The present study is conducted on a sample of twenty (20) workers at the province of Tizi, Willaya of Mascara.

To pursue the practical side of the study, we opt for the analytical descriptive approach with the use of observation and interviews as the main data collection instruments One of the most important conclusions that we reached throughout our study is that each source of pressure has a special strategy to adapt to, and the choice of strategies to adapt to different pressure situations varies from one institution to another according to its specificity and the nature of its activity.

Furthermore, the most prominent organizational strategies to adapt to social pressures to improve job performance include mentoring, managing by participation, organizational development, social services.
