This study aims to show to what extent the Arab poetry is closely connected to rhythmical poetry, in such a way it is impossible to do without both in innovation and poetry reading.

we also, aim to show the rôle of expatriate poets, mainly those affiliated with the pen league, calling to be freed from the meters of the rhythmical poetry of al-Khalil Ibn Ahmad al-Farahidi.

it cornes out from this study that calls, from the pen league poets to renew the rhythmical poetry did not find acceptance even among the league poets itself.
