This study deals with an analysis of the documentary film “the blue fasting”, where it deals with the preparations for Ramadan fasting, such as choosing the appropriate place and time for that, including setting up tents, in addition to many traditions of the Tuareg, which the director presented in several places and times in the Wilaya of Tamanghassat in the form of various documentaries.

and before the factuality of the crescent of Ramadan by traditional methods until its sighting, celebrating the first fasting for their children and the moment of puberty, dress them in the best clothes that are going to be their official uniforms until death, and their strong adherence to Ramadan and its spirituality they give its name to their children, and playing a set of games that are played day and night for the lack of entertainment in a family atmosphere, and performing folkloric parties such as “Imzad” and “Tendi”, passing through the circumcision that the Tuareg do to their sons on the nights of the holy month, in the Wilaya and in the other municipalities and villages.

in addition to that, showing food images in the form of “burnt wheat” (“Zimbu”), and drinks especially “tea” are traditional for the Tuareg, as well as good to fasting and harmful ones to it.

'the blue man' was monitored in the film as well : how does he live and coexist with life and his resistance against hunger and thirst despite the cruelty of nature and the hot weather? .
