Abstract EN

This study aims to highlight the participation of the Mozabite elite in the reform movement in the north, and in particular in the association of Algerian Muslim scholars, the contact with Sheikh Abdul Hamid Ibn Badis was through several means, including the press and the educational and education movement.

the abu al-yaqzan press was the voice of the association in the north and south.

after the establishment of the association of Algerian Muslim scholars, the Mozabites joined it spontaneously, as founding members such as Sheikh Ibrahim Abi al-Yaqzan and Sheikh Ibrahim Bayoudh, and also joined to its branches, merchants Banimozab, east, west, north and south.

this actual participation gave a strong motivation to the association, as the Mozabites became zealous to execute its program and policy, which had good results in spreading political and cultural awareness among the segments of Algerian society.
