Le centre d'interprétation du patrimoine : un outil de mise en valeur des sites archéologiques : cas du site archéologique de Banasa (Bassin du Gharb, Maroc No)‎

Heritages, by their diversity, are currently becoming an issue of sustainable economic and tourist development ; they give rise to numerous areas of experimentation in regards to their development and management methods with regard to accommodating people.

the heritage interpretation centre (HIC) is the most often chosen means of promoting the natural and cultural heritage.

the notion of interpretation, linked to the history of American national parks, and dating from the beginning of the 20th century, has been adopted in recent years by morocco as a means of presenting and promoting heritage sites.

archaeological sites are at the leading edge of this approach.

these new entities are essentially based on mediation which makes use of all imaginative resources and of all animation technics to bring the visitors into situation and make them realize that they have a personal involvement in this heritage.

in order to contribute to the valorization process of the Banasa archaeological site, a very important one in the north of morocco and a recognized as national heritage, we propose an overview of the concept and the emergence of interpretation in morocco, then we focus on the main lines of interpretation which will allow us to better introduce the site to a larger public.

the implementation of such a project will certainly constitute a very important step in the development of the archaeological sites of the Gharb Basin in particular and of northern morocco in general.

Les patrimoines, par leur diversité, constituent un levier incontournable pour un développement économique et touristique durable ;ils font émerger de nombreux terrains d’expérimentation quant à leur mode de valorisation et de gestion dès lors qu’il s’agit d’accueillir du public.le centre d’interprétation du patrimoine (CIP) s’est imposé, dans de nombreux pays, pour la mise en valeur du patrimoine naturel et culturel.

ce concept, liée à l’histoire des parcs nationaux américains, etdatant du début du xxème siècle, est adopté ces dernières années par le maroc en tant que moyen, efficace et efficient, de présentation et de valorisation des sites à vocation patrimoniale.

les sites archéologiques sont à l’avant-garde de cette démarche.

les centres d’interprétation, s’appuient essentiellement sur la médiation, qui fait appel à toutes les ressources de l’imagination et aux techniques d’animation pour permettre au visiteur de s’approprier le site, et delà l’impliquer dans sa préservation.

afin de contribuer au processus de mise en valeur du site archéologique de banasa, un site majeur de la zone du gharb (Maroc) et reconnu comme patrimoine national, nous proposons dans le présent travail un aperçu sur la notion d’interprétation et son apparition au maroc, nous mettons par la suite l’accent sur les axes d’interprétation qui permettront une meilleure présentation du site à un large public.

la mise en place d’un tel projet constituera certainement, un pas très important dans la mise en valeur des sites archéologique du bassin du rharb en particulier et du maroc nord en général.
