With the development of French nuclear research, the Algerian Sahara has witnessed numerous nuclear experiments of varying force and appearance, both superficial and basaltic in both the Reggane and In Ekker regions, of which only 17 were recognized between 1960 and 1966, and which have left nuclear aggression against both man and nature.

Therefore, in this article, we will address the merits and facts of the nuclear experiments in Reggane and In Ekker and the position of international law regarding them, which are legally described as an international crime that places international responsibility on the French authorities and results in reparations for the Algerian victims and their environment.
