Abstract EN

This paper deals with the international experiences in e-waste sound management, in order to conclude the possibility of benefiting from them in the case of Algeria.

this research is based on a main hypothesis, that there is an inadequacy of the comprehensive management system for all waste, and that a policy for e-waste should be developed.

relying on the descriptive and analytical methods, the study concluded that, the sound management of e-waste brings significant economic, social, and environmental benefits.

however, its application faces many challenges, and its contribution to reducing the negative effects of these wastes is currently low.

as for the studied experiences, urgent solutions can be found that fit the current situation, pending the founding of an integrated model, based on a legislative and institutional basis.
