Food industries are an important part of manufacturing that can contribute to the emergence of the Algerian economy.

this study highlighted the role of the food industry branch in the Algerian economy for the period 2005-2015, with its very important contribution to crude output and the manufacturing sector is very important.

in order to fulfil its role in development, it is necessary to increase the quantity of the quality of the productivity of the agricultural sector, and the food industry should be subjected to a development strategy, namely, the process of integrating and deepening these industries with technology by taking advantage of these industry in a joint and integrated manner, and deepening these industries technologically, by strengthening their knowledge and technological content, and deepening the comparative advantages of their natural resources.
