The issue of child protection has always been at the very center of the interests of states and governments in their efforts to preserve the health and physical integrity of the child on the one hand, and protect him from risks that could threaten his right of access to care and education on the other hand.

In this regard, several conventions and recommendations have emerged, by which a number of States which are under the aegis of international and regional organizations, call for the need to grant special protection to persons engaged in works which are - either by their nature, or by the conditions of their execution - perilous, or which constitute a danger to the morals of people performing this type of works, in particular the category of children.

In this context, many states have called for an exhaustive list of arduous and hazardous work to be drawn up, as well as the determination of a minimum age for admission to employment.

Thus, work in cinemas, theaters, music halls, singing and acrobatics shows for example, is considered from this point of view, among dangerous and perilous work.

Therefore, the researcher tried to shed light on this question from the point of view of the legal protection established to protect children against economic exploitation, and the risks surrounding their work, particularly in the field of acrobatics and circus.
