After the author’s intellectual property rights of all kinds were related to the traditional aspect only, the information and communication revolution and the development of technology cast a shadow, pushing towards adopting the protection of the author’s intellectual property over digital works so that they do not remain vulnerable to attack, so the study focuses on the aspects that are protected for the author from these works are in the digital environment, as these works include several divisions, including what is related to the computer and its programs, databases and topography of integrated circuits, and others linked to the internet and its multimedia, to stand on the international protection of these rights by the world intellectual property organization.
