Abstract EN

This study aims to point out the means and mechanisms used to protect neglected children within the family in the Algerian legal system.

on the one hand, the criminal judiciary criminates and sets penal sanctions against some forms of neglect, on the other hand, the child protection code specifies it to be a dangerous situation that necessitates the intervention of social bodies by taking a set of measures for the sake of helping children who suffer from neglect within the family.
