Security is one of the vital topics in which the field of international relations abounds، and it has its own fields of knowledge، most notably the field of critical security studies.

The studies focused on it have not been able to find indications that define its meaning and limit its scope، and on this basis، the understanding of security becomes closely linked to the large theoretical quantity that abounds in international relations in general and security studies in particular، for this this study tried to investigate the most common interpretations of this concept and a critical vision I concluded that it is difficult to agree on a single content of security، regardless of the multiplicity of jurisprudence، and this is due to the multiplicity of approaches that dealt with this issue.
