The issue of nationality is of great importance in the life of the individual and society due to the official nature of it and the rights and obligations it entails for states and individuals.

Whether or not the person has citizenship before the civil judiciary, so that the question arises about the role of the Public Prosecution as representing the public right and public order in such a case under the scope of the Algerian Nationality Law, Hence, it was necessary to research this subject by addressing the documents required for the acquisition of Algerian nationality in accordance with the Algerian Nationality Law, and the ways in which the Family Affairs Department contacts disputes related to the establishment or denial of nationality from persons, with an explanation of the mechanisms for appealing it and implementing the rulings issued in it by the prosecution Public Prosecution, and the search for the problems that still restrict the Public Prosecution from playing its role in this dispute, and the legal obstacles that limit its effectiveness in this litigation.
