Qiyas is one of the grammatical foundations that crystallized the grammatical approach of Ibn jinni in general through his book al-Muhtasib in explaining the abnormal readings and clarifying them.

to reveal the nature of his employment of this grammatical origin, in directing the abnormal from the Qur’an through description and analysis.

this was from an applied point of view, so that the various grammatical aspects of these readings were graduated from the first and second parts, and the nature of Ibn Janni’s employment of analogy was revealed in this book so that it was concluded that the method of measurement in this book is not purely grammatical, but rather a method of analogy mixed with analogies other jurisprudential, logical and fundamentalist ones, which gave the title of an encyclopedic to this book.
