Abstract EN

This article deals with the religious anthropological and social dimensions that change the Algerian society from a traditional society to a modern one, by investigating the primary factors (religious and tribal) in the modern society, in addition to the influence of social, cultural, economic and political impacts in constructing the individual which may contrast on his behavior and voting participation.

this study aims also to diagnose the religious effects to control electoral behavior of the local elector and identify in general the extent of the individual's commitment to aspects of religion, orientations and their religious representations and how it reflects their behavior and the role that plays religion values to control the electoral behavior, mainly in a local society that lives a period of transition and changes in it many contradictions and confrontation with what is classical tradition (inherited) and what is contemporary modernly overshadowed by political, economic, social and cultural dependency, which led local communities to live instability and a state of becoming between assimilation and practice, led to ask the following question : does the Algerian voter represents religious values through his practice of electoral process ? that is to say, if the first traditional values (religious and tribal) still exist in the Algerian modern society ?
