The computer is one of the cornerstones of the technological age and the technical, cognitive and cultural revolution.

it is also considered one of the most important and widespread means of expansion, which effect is seen in many aspects of our lives, most notably the linguistic aspect.

as such, this study highlights a number of basic concepts in computational linguistics, some procedural models in an attempt to lay a foundation for understanding the principles of this modern linguistic field, the extent to which it penetrates linguistic studies, and raises awareness about the necessity of applying its methods and procedures.
