Abstract EN

This study aimed at investigating the impact of technology and social media on emotional and social growth on children.

using qualitative approach, (12) parents were chosen randomly, the study instrument consisting of (8) open questions was applied.

the results of the study showed a number of emotional problems : introversion and isolationism, and the child's unwillingness to participate in discussing problems.

and social problems : the child's unwillingness to dialogue, and some change in some social concepts among children.

parents suggested, including : increasing family and school awareness, controlling the hours of using devices and social medias, encourage the child to participate in activities and monitoring the games.

the researcher recommended a set of recommendations.
