يحاول المقال إلقاء الضوء على جانب مهم من الفكر السياسي المعروف خلال التاريخ الأوربي ويركز على وجه الخصوص على فكر الشاعر والمؤرخ الإيطالي ''دانتي أليجييري'' (1265-1321 م).
ويناقش المقال أيضا أهم النقاط مثار الجدل والمتعلقة بتقديس السلطة الإمبراطورية وعلاقتها بالسلطة الروحية الدينية ممثلة في البابوية، كل ذلك من خلال أعمال ومؤلفات أهم وأبرز شخصية في العصور الوسطى المتأخرة.
Abstract EN
The article aims to study an important aspect of political thought known during the European middle ages, and focuses in particular on the thought of the Italian poet and historian Dante Alighieri (1265-1321 AD).
the article also discusses the most controversial points related to the sanctification of imperial authority and its relationship to religious spiritual authority represented in the papacy, all through the works and literature of the most important and prominent figure in the late middle ages.
