Abstract EN

This study aimed to clarifying the importance of using the balanced scorecard in the field of measuring and evaluating performance in the company, and highlight the necessary steps for designing the balanced scorecard in modern ceramics company in Chelf.

in addition to that, it aimed to identify the basic components of this card.

for this purpose, the descriptive analytical method was used, in the theoretical side, all aspects of the study were presented and explained, while a case study method was used in the practical side to analyse the problematic.

the study found out that it is possible to apply the balanced scorecard in the modern ceramics enterprise, this is because the balanced scorecard offers advantages that help the enterprise in question to be more competitive in long-term thereby achieving its vision and strategic goals.
