Abstract EN

This study deals with the development of the journalist responsibility, through the media laws that Algeria knew in 1982 with the socialist ideology, and with pluralism in the 1990 law ; then in the organic law of information in 2012 then in the executive decree 20-332 on electronic media.

in addition this study aims to know the nature of the Algerian journalist responsibility, whether it was a civil tort based on compensation or resort to response and correction, or it was criminal responsibility which needs a punishment.
