The presence of lexico-semantic analysis of anthroponomy in Algeria allow so emphasize the motivations that under lie the choice of first names made by parents.
The importance of ancestral traditions that influence parents' orientations is, in certain circumstances inappropriate, especially when socio-political event sap pear on the surface.
Thus, parents seem more and more released and new rules determine this denominational paradigm.
The current trend seems to direct the choice of parents towards a modern orientation that covers the chosen first name with sow devoid of any regional affiliation.

La présente analyse lexico-sémantique des anthroponymes en Algérie permet de mettre l'accent sur les motivations qui sous-tendent le choix des prénoms opérés par les parents.
Le poids des traditions ancestrales qui influent sur les orientations des parents se trouve, dans certaines conjonctures, inapproprié notamment quand des évènements sociopolitiques font surface.
Ainsi, les parents semblent de plus en plus libérés et de nouvelles règles déterminent ce paradigme dénominatif.
La tendance actuelle semble diriger le choix des parents vers une orientation moderne qui recouvre le prénom choisi de sèmes dépourvus de toute appartenance régionale.
