Abstract EN

The aim of the study is to identify the contributions of the uses of anthropometric measurements in the selection and orientation of emerging age swimmers (08- 12).

The study sample was randomly selected at the level of swimming clubs in the provinces of Setif, Bouira and M'sila, the descriptive method was used, and as a data collection tool the research team relied on a questionnaire form covering four axes.

One of the most important results of the research was that most trainers and swimming supervisors did not use anthropometric measurements to select and guide emerging swimmers, and did not include management strategies for measurements.
