Abstract EN

The research aims to identify the levels of self-esteem and the decision-making levels of the football referees of the Professional League in Algeria, and the extent of the relationship between the level of self-esteem and the level of decision-making, and to find out if there are differences in the level of decision-making due to the degree of judgment, the researcher used the descriptive approach.

The selection of a random sample of football referees for the Professional League consisting of 80 referees from the midfield and assistant referees during the current season, and the researcher used the study tools represented in the scale of self-esteem and the decision-making scale.

And the level of decision-making was its arithmetic medium high, and there is a statistically significant correlation between the level of self-esteem and the level of decision-making, and the researcher concluded that there are no differences in the judges’ responses to the axes of the decision-making scale due to the variable of judgment.
