Abstract EN

This research paper presents Iran's military capabilities in an effort to find out the effectiveness of its strategic performance, As Tehran worked to provide its armed forces with military equipment that would meet the requirements of its national security and regional strategic interests.

After analyzing the issue scientifically, the study concluded that Iran possesses military capabilities that qualify it to play the role of an influential regional actor, However, its failure to keep pace with the revolution in military affairs, as well as its focus on developing specific weapons, would over time weaken its strategic performance, and thus weaken its role at the regional level.
