Tweezah and el Wazee'a are well-known and common forms of social solidarity in Algeria and most of Arab countries, especially within the rural communities.

in fact, following Tweezah and el Wazee'a traditions is about adopting a cultural system based on social values where by behaviors exhibit solidarity between individuals and communities.

moreover, these behavior’s aim to achieve an instant public interest, which might affect the next generations.

this research paper highlights the importance of Tweezah and el Wazee'a as forms of social solidarity and cooperation, which are deep-rooted in the Algerian cultural heritage and are effectively, common all over Algeria.

the study adopted the anthropological approach that pays attention to the origin of Tweezah and el Wazee'a as they are part of a cultural heritage and which might be borrowed from other cultures or deep-rooted in these regions.

furthermore, the study examines the function fulfilled by Tweezah and el Wazee'a as a form of social solidarity in addition to the fact that sociocultural characteristics of some communities affect and control economy.
