The Amazighs have known since ancient times a tribal system that is similar to democracy, which is under the authority of the sheikh or the head of the tribe and it is considered by individuals as a reference for their behavior and a standard for values, customs and traditions, as it is the engine that drives the group, and it is called the collective system, which witnessed a significant decline at the beginning of the 20 the century due to many factors that contributed in eliminating this institution, this issue is of great importance in Eurasian society, especially when we look for the reasons that made society neglected this system, as the Tadjmaat or Djmaa (community) was a source for organizing social, economic and political institutions and it preserved the foundations that is formed for decades.
