Communication ethnography is interested in 'studying the status of communicational processes and the particularisms that serve to become aware of our ethnocentrism to distinguish what is normative from what appears natural when we are in a situation of contextualized communication.
indeed, ethnographic work is based on the empirical-deductive approach and the qualitative method to effectively describe a communication situation.
so, in this article, we have tried to study this method which constitutes a dialogical and interpretative approach by exploiting the communicative skills required, among others, knowing how to see, how to be and how to write.
the ultimate goal is to know how to describe a communication situation, then to know how to analyze the verbal and the non-verbal in a socio-cultural situation.
in addition, we have tried to take a look at the work of Dell Hymes especially with regard to the Speaking model.

L'ethnographie de la communication s'intéresse à étudier le statut des processus communicationnels et les particularismes qui servent à prendre conscience de notre ethnocentrisme pour distinguer ce qui est normatif de ce qui apparait comme naturel quand on est dans une situation de communication contextualisée.
en effet, le travail ethnographique s'appuie sur l'approche empirico-déductive et la méthode qualitative pour décrire efficacement une situation de communication.
alors, dans cet article, nous avons tenté d'étudier cette méthode qui constitue une approche dialogique et interprétative en exploitant les compétences communicatives exigées entre autres le savoir voir, le savoir être et le savoir écrire.
le but ultime est de savoir décrire une situation de communication, puis savoir analyser le verbal et le non verbal dans une situation socioculturelle.
de plus, nous avons essayé de jeter un regard concernant les travaux de Dell Hymes notamment en ce qui concerne le modèle Speaking.
