The juvenile is considered the man of the future but he often faces the problem of deviation to which the state attaches great importance according to many international and treaties for protecting the juveniles.

the punishment of juveniles differs from the punishment of adults.

the fact that the punishment alone does not eliminate the Crim, the Algerian legislator introduced preventive measures to protect the juvenile from falling into the forbidden.

these measures vary according to the juvenile’s age and are distributed between protection, education or imprisonment and the financial fine as well as the work in the interest of the public interest.

I studied the effect of precautionary measures in reducing child delinquency, a legitimate and legal study, divided into an introduction and three sections.

at first, I defined delinquency, children and precautionary measures, secondly, the topic dealt with the precautionary measures in Islamic jurisprudence to protect the crime.

thirdly, the precautionary measures and the penalties for the juvenile delinquent in Algerian law.

among the findings, the increase in delinquency among young people, preventive measures are proactive methods adopted by penal systems to find solutions to juvenile delinquency.
