Abstract EN

Given the great importance of the nature of the institutional structure of associations in strengthening their efficiency and effectiveness in achieving their goals, this study came to search for the nature and features of the institutional structure of association institutions in Algeria and the availability of its indicators, based on one of the important theoretical models that determine the features of the typical structure of the institution, which was developed by the thinker American Samuel Huntington.

Based on the results of the field study of a sample of associations in the city of Biskra, it was found that the association institutions are still far from achieving most of the main indicators of this model, which explains the weak effectiveness and influence of these associations in their various fields and their inability to occupy their hoped position as a partner in development.
