Abstract EN

Archaeological and historical buildings are exposed to damage caused by different factors.

The most important of them are the natural factors.

In this context, the present research deals with the principal causes that led to severe damages and deterioration of the southern baths in Madauros.

With reference to the major different deterioration factors that damaged this important archeological monument.

Also, we tried through this research to present some suggestions and solutions in order to preserve this monument and the necessity to carry out conservation and restoration works in accordance with purely scientific methods to conserve the historical character of these baths
