This article deals with the mothers of the chapters of meanings in Arabic grammar and their characteristics, because the meanings are performed with letters, so the meaning is denoted by a letter, which is the mother of the chapter, sharing advantages with its analogues, and exceed it in the features, this is what made the grammarians distribute these mothers on chapters: the interrogative, the conditional, the exception, the accusative of the present tense and its apocopate, Inna and her sisters, the conjunction, and the call.

the result is that the chapters of the meanings letters have mothers that are characterized by generality and abundance of use, simplicity, originality, and the agreement of the grammarians.
