Abstract EN

The study aimed to measure the impact of green technology on environmental awareness from the point of view of employees at the Institute of Public Administration, Asser Branch, according to personal variables (job level, age, management, qualification).

The study community consisted of (53) employees.

The study used the descriptive analytical method.

The data were analyzed using simple and multiple regression.

The results showed that there an effect of applying green technology on environmental awareness, and that the level of green technology application and environmental awareness was high.

There is also an intermediate relationship for the application of green technology to environmental awareness, while the results of the study showed that the application of green technology contributes to enhancing environmental awareness in its three axes, and the levels of environmental awareness were available in the following order: knowledge first, then skill, and finally emotional awareness, and the results of the study highlighted the presence of some obstacles to a low degree.

In light of the results, the study recommends adopting the application of green technology and issuing tax and customs incentives and privileges for institutions that apply green technology and to have a preference in government transactions and contracts ,to applied environmental certification protocol for granting licenses of work which was one of the gate to develop and enhance an environmental awareness, and adopting a practicing which developing an emotional awareness through workshops, seminars and motivate staff to participate on green interventions which enhancing the application of green technology and Increase the environmental awareness
