Abstract EN

The study approaches one of al-lbrahimi's texts using text analysis.

the main concern is to reveal the ways textually is achieved and coherence is fulfilled.

the research paper dealt with one of the criteria that make a text coherent and harmonious, namely intertextuality.

textually and intertextuality contributed in making al-lbrahimi's coherent and robust texts.

this is the case, for instance, in his text, "nadi al kalam fi Baghdad / Baghdad's pen club".

recurring to the strategies adopted by the critic Mohamed Meftah, namely expansion, paraphrase and summarizing, we analyzed the text structure.

Meftah's theory helped in highlighting the coherence of the text, and also its interrelation to other texts.
