Abstract EN

This study aims to identify the reality of Islamic Sukuk in the world taking into account the current developments during the period 2001-2020, presenting and analyzing statistics, and showing their economic importance, highlighting the most important challenges and obstacles facing Islamic Sukuk and indicating their future prospects.

a number of results have been achieved in this work, the most important of which is that Islamic Sukuk has experienced a remarkable increase in the volume of its issuance in recent years at the global level, recording a record number since the beginning of the establishment of the Sukuk market, proving its importance in meeting many economic development requirements, filling gaps in public financing and covering the urgent need of companies that need long-term liquidity.
