Abstract EN

This study aimed to reveal the level of psychological stress among mothers of mentally handicapped children.

We used the descriptive approach, where the sample consisted of 33 mothers.

To collect the study data, we used the following tools: personal data form, psychological stress questionnaire, accompanied by Jabali (2013).

After collecting and processing the data using the arithmetic mean method, the results of the study showed the first hypothesis that the mothers of the mentally handicapped suffer from high psychological stress with an arithmetic mean of 82.

The results of the second hypothesis revealed that mothers with a primary level and less stress than other levels with an arithmetic mean of 94.
