This article aims to shed light on the process of evaluation executive functions disorder in children with cerebral palsy, which has become the focus of some researches and specialists in the field of child neuropsychology over the past decades and prompted a review of the different methodological approaches and clinical examination procedures and strategies followed with appropriate use of evaluation tools due to the importance and necessity of the process, its difficulty, complexity and accuracy, because a good evaluation has become one of the major and important goals and challenges for every specialist in order to achieve a sound understanding of the nature executive dysfunctions occurring, where this needs to define good scientific and methodological steps and set clear and objective evaluation criteria.

Through this article, we will attempt to clarify the basic determinants on which the neuropsychological evaluation of executive functions is based, in addition to revealing the various difficulties and theoretical and methodological basic problems that the researcher is confronted with whene evaluating these functions, thus affecting directly and negatively on the child 's executive functioning.

thus, we help researchers and specialists to improve skills, change and develop methods and tools for neuropsychological evaluation of these functions in the future, in line with the requirements of childhood and the specificity of neurodevelopmental diseases
