This article deals with the issue of migratory waterfowl conservation, where the framework outlines the international law for the protection of migratory waterfowl by presenting relevant international instruments, and then addresses a promising model for bird protection at the regional level by presenting the unique experience of North American countries in the field of migratory waterfowl conservation.

Then it shows the Algerian experience in the field of conservation and protection of waterfowl by presenting the relevant legal texts.
