Abstract EN

Algeria, as the rest of the world in general and the Arab world in particular, is faced with an unceasing and significant flow of knowledge and culture.

to address this situation, Algerian translators, like their Arab acolytes, have been translating into Arabic all the novelties that have appeared in the field of criticism, which is profuse in concepts, methods and terminology.

Thereupon, the aim of our research is to highlight the individual and institutional efforts and achievements made to translate the western critical baggage with its two components: the conceptual and the terminological, with the aim of enriching the knowledge of students and researchers in this research area.

for this purpose, we rely on the descriptive analytical approach to arrive at the situational analysis of the translation of critical terminology in Algeria.
