Literary criticism searches for the phenomenon of literature and takes it as its subject, so if we say that literature is an expression this necessitates that we look at the origins of expression and the sources of beauty in it, and this adds to us taking rhetoric as a means to highlighting the beauty in expression because it is the science that classified the rhetorical characteristics in speech and tried to analyze But the emergence of rhetoric and criticism from one region, which is literature, and their participation in living in it allows their neighbors and even their intertwine , especially in the Arab heritage in which the rhetorical and critical investigations are mixed.

A critical sense, so the ancient Arab criticism was mostly rhetorical criticism, and this is what makes it easy to search for them.
